Wake up people this isn’t a game
This time there will be nowhere to run
And
nowhere to hide

In the 1930’s when Hitler was ramping up his war machine, the Jewish parents that could “read the writing on the wall” did whatever was necessary to at least get their children, if not the whole family out of Europe, unfortunately, this time, there is nowhere safe to go.

There is a stench emanating out of Washington D.C. that has permeated the United States of America, and this odiferous attitude has been fostered throughout the world by the different media formats; greed is good; eat, drink and take advantage of others, no matter the consequences; it appears to be a “we are special and you should bow down to us” attitude. Sadly it looks like we have gotten way too big for our britches and just as we don’t appreciate a spoiled, bratty kid in a restaurant; most of the rest of the world really doesn’t care for our whining and bulling ways.
I can already imagine the responses, who gives a rip, what are they (the rest of the world) going to do about it.
Well if the past is any indicator of what the future holds…the destruction of the United States could lie in the balance and unlike the 1930’s and 40’s this time there is nowhere to hide.
The Founding Fathers of this nation read, studied and understood the Bible and that without the help and blessing of God they would not have made it.
We have done well as a nation making it over 200 years but history is replete with instances where “societies” have thumbed their noses at God and suffered the consequences. Here in the United States we went from a just nation that openly worshiped God and his Son, Jesus, to a nation that tiptoes around issues of Jesus and God so that we don’t insult the people who refuse to acknowledge that God had a Son who crushed Satan so that we might be free.
Israel, Gods’ chosen people has been besieged with war and plundered numerous times since its inception according to the Bible, to the point of utter destruction in 70 AD, for what I believe to have been the rejection of the Son of God, the sacrifice that he made for the people and the wonton slaughter of Christ’s followers, until its rebirth 1,878 years later in 1948.
When one plays the part of a bully, brat or witch in the sandbox eventually nobody wants to play with you and that appears to be what is happening here to the United States. We have lived the high life with very little thoughts for anyone else’s well being. We have collectively as a nation thumbed our nose at God and his Son rejecting the blessing that had been bestowed on U.S. much as the Jewish people have done over the years to their own detriment.
There used to be a time not so long ago that we were known as a Christian nation now we are viewed with suspicion, distrust; so what happens next?
Is it possible for the United States to be utterly destroyed as Israel was? The Bible informs us not to take on debt: our funded obligations exceed $13.8 trillion, our unfunded obligations exceed $60 trillion; that seems self-destructive to me.
The Bible informs us to provide justice, not pervert justice; all the laws necessary to run (not rule) the world are listed in the Bible in less than 15 pages. With over 30 million laws on the books (how many are for special interest groups) there is no justice, just perversion of justice; seems self-destructive to me.
The U.S. government has American Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coasties in over 60 countries throughout the world could it be that in our self-righteous zeal we are guilty of enormous amounts of collateral damage (we are not always right).  Are we oppressing others by meddling in stuff that is other people’s business at a cost of tens-of-thousands of lives, billions of dollars, and destruction on a scale that is hard to imagine, it seems that we are guilty of being hypocrites, busybodies.
We have let corporations take control of almost everything. Corporations seems to have only one function in life and that is to make money for their shareholders, at any cost. They do not care about the people (people are an actuarial problem), only money.
If the people of this nation don’t wake up and change our ways fast we have a disaster of unmitigated proportions headed our way. This country has been protected over the years by the Second Covenant which is explained in the New Testament of the Bible, but this nation has been led astray, and the consequences of rejection are sure to follow.

Just as God punished the Jewish people for thumbing their noses at him, God will have no choice but to punish the United States because of the actions of the people of this nation. He is a just God, if one group struck the agreement and suffered the consequences of rejecting Him any other group in the future agreeing to a covenant will also have to suffer the consequences of their actions.
First Covenant (contract) was with the Jewish people during the time of Moses and they failed miserably numerous times.
Part one is what happened when the Jewish people rejected or forgot the Covenant or contract they made with God.
Part two is what the Jewish people were supposed to fulfill for their half of the Covenant, it was approximately 600 laws and rules (not all of them are listed here, a complete listing is in Exodus, Leviticus and Deuteronomy).
The Founding Fathers staked their lives on the word and promises of God and the second Covenant because the first Covenant was superseded when the second one was sealed by Jesus.

Just as with the first Covenant, when Christ who sealed the Second Covenant is rejected, bad thing happen.

This is what happened to the Jewish people for rejecting their covenant with God

`But if you will not listen to me and carry out all these commands, and if you reject my decrees and abhor my laws and fail to carry out all my commands and so violate my covenant, then I will do this to you: I will bring upon you sudden terror, wasting diseases and fever that will destroy your sight and drain away your life. You will plant seed in vain, because your enemies will eat it. I will set my face against you so that you will be defeated by your enemies; those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee even when no one is pursuing you.

`If after all this you will not listen to me, I will punish you for your sins seven times over. I will break down your stubborn pride and make the sky above you like iron and the ground beneath you like bronze. Your strength will be spent in vain, because your soil will not yield its crops, nor will the trees of the land yield their fruit.

`If you remain hostile toward me and refuse to listen to me, I will multiply your afflictions seven times over, as your sins deserve. I will send wild animals against you, and they will rob you of your children, destroy your cattle and make you so few in number that your roads will be deserted.

`If in spite of these things you do not accept my correction but continue to be hostile toward me, I myself will be hostile toward you and will afflict you for your sins seven times over. And I will bring the sword upon you to avenge the breaking of the covenant . When you withdraw into your cities, I will send a plague among you, and you will be given into enemy hands. When I cut off your supply of bread, ten women will be able to bake your bread in one oven, and they will dole out the bread by weight. You will eat, but you will not be satisfied.

`If in spite of this you still do not listen to me but continue to be hostile toward me, then in my anger I will be hostile toward you, and I myself will punish you for your sins seven times over. You will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters. I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars and pile your dead bodies on the lifeless forms of your idols, and I will abhor you. I will turn your cities into ruins and lay waste your sanctuaries, and I will take no delight in the pleasing aroma of your offerings. I will lay waste the land, so that your enemies who live there will be appalled. I will scatter you among the nations and will draw out my sword and pursue you. Your land will be laid waste, and your cities will lie in ruins. Then the land will enjoy its sabbath years all the time that it lies desolate and you are in the country of your enemies; then the land will rest and enjoy its sabbaths. All the time that it lies desolate, the land will have the rest it did not have during the sabbaths you lived in it.

`As for those of you who are left, I will make their hearts so fearful in the lands of their enemies that the sound of a windblown leaf will put them to flight. They will run as though fleeing from the sword, and they will fall, even though no one is pursuing them. They will stumble over one another as though fleeing from the sword, even though no one is pursuing them. So you will not be able to stand before your enemies. You will perish among the nations; the land of your enemies will devour you. Those of you who are left will waste away in the lands of their enemies because of their sins; also because of their fathers' sins they will waste away.

`But if they will confess their sins and the sins of their fathers--their treachery against me and their hostility toward me, which made me hostile toward them so that I sent them into the land of their enemies--then when their uncircumcised hearts are humbled and they pay for their sin, I will remember my covenant with Jacob and my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land. For the land will be deserted by them and will enjoy its sabbaths while it lies desolate without them. They will pay for their sins because they rejected my laws and abhorred my decrees. Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them or abhor them so as to destroy them completely, breaking my covenant with them. I am the LORD their God. But for their sake I will remember the covenant with their ancestors whom I brought out of Egypt in the sight of the nations to be their God. I am the LORD.' "

What follows is some of the first agreement that was broken

Then Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain and said, "This is what you are to say to the house of Jacob and what you are to tell the people of Israel: `You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself. Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites."

"You shall have no other gods before me.

"You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

"You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

"Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

  "You shall not murder.

  "You shall not commit adultery.

  "You shall not steal.

"You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

"You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."

"Do not spread false reports. Do not help a wicked man by being a malicious witness.

"Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimon

in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd, and do not show favoritism to a poor man in his lawsuit.

"If you come across your enemy's ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to take it back to him. If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen down under its load, do not leave it there; be sure you help him with it.

"Do not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits. Have nothing to do with a false charge and do not put an innocent or honest person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty.

"Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the righteous.

"Do not oppress an alien; you yourselves know how it feels to be aliens, because you were aliens in Egypt.

"For six years you are to sow your fields and harvest the crops, but during the seventh year let the land lie unplowed and unused. Then the poor among your people may get food from it, and the wild animals may eat what they leave. Do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove.

"Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest and the slave born in your household, and the alien as well, may be refreshed.

"Be careful to do everything I have said to you. Do not invoke the names of other gods; do not let them be heard on your lips.

These are just some of the Laws and Rules that the people agreed to in the First Covenant, to attempt to get a grip as to what is happening one must turn off the idiot box and read the Bible or you will never understand.

We appear to have become a nation of fools

We are in trouble and until this mess is acknowledged
It is only going to get worse
for

As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.

Although Isaiah was speaking this warning to the Jewish people over 2500 years ago it is easy to see where history is repeating itself. This time it will probably be the Christians and Jews who will suffer for giving lip-sevice to God. While reading the following change the word Judah to USA and Jerusalem with Washington D.C.

ISA 3:1 See now, the Lord, the LORD Almighty, is about to take from Jerusalem (Washington D.C.) and Judah (the USA) both supply and support: all supplies of food and all supplies of water, the hero and warrior, the judge and prophet, the soothsayer and elder, the captain of fifty and man of rank, the counselor, skilled craftsman and clever enchanter.

I will make boys their officials; mere children will govern them. (Street Gangs?)
People will oppress each other-- man against man, neighbor against neighbor. The young will rise up against the old, the base against the honorable.
A man will seize one of his brothers at his father's home, and say, "You have a cloak, you be our leader; take charge of this heap of ruins!"
But in that day he will cry out, "I have no remedy. I have no food or clothing in my house; do not make me the leader of the people."

Jerusalem (Washington D.C.) staggers, Judah (the USA) is falling; their words and deeds are against the LORD, defying his glorious presence. (We the USA export a lot of sick attitudes through MTV)
The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves.
Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done.

Youths oppress my people, women rule over them. O my people, your guides lead you astray; they turn you from the path.
The LORD takes his place in court; he rises to judge the people. The LORD enters into judgment against the elders and leaders of his people: "It is you who have ruined my vineyard; the plunder from the poor is in your houses. What do you mean by crushing my people and grinding the faces of the poor?" (Hello, could this be the greed of Wall Street, Lobbyists and smooth talking lawyers?) declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty.

  The LORD says,
"The women of Zion (America) are haughty, walking along with outstretched necks, flirting with their eyes, tripping along with mincing steps, with ornaments jingling on their ankles. Therefore the Lord will bring sores on the heads of the women of Zion; the LORD will make their scalps bald."
In that day the Lord will snatch away their finery: the bangles and headbands and crescent necklaces, the earrings and bracelets and veils, the headdresses and ankle chains and sashes, the perfume bottles and charms, the signet rings and nose rings, the fine robes and the capes and cloaks, the purses and mirrors, and the linen garments and tiaras and shawls.
Instead of fragrance there will be a stench; instead of a sash, a rope; instead of well-dressed hair, baldness; instead of fine clothing, sackcloth; instead of beauty, branding.
Your men will fall by the sword, your warriors in battle. The gates of Zion (America) will lament and mourn; destitute ($23.5 Trillion, 23,500,000,000,000 in debt and rising), she will sit on the ground.

Have we become a nation of fools?

Most of the following come from Proverbs.

But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.

A quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping on a rainy day; restraining her is like restraining the wind or grasping oil with the hand.

Some became fools through their rebellious ways and suffered affliction because of their iniquities.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

"How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?

  For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them;

The wise inherit honor, but fools he holds up to shame.

You who are simple, gain prudence; you who are foolish, gain understanding.

The proverbs of Solomon:

A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son grief to his mother.

The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin.

He who winks maliciously causes grief, and a chattering fool comes to ruin.

Wise men store up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin.

He who conceals his hatred has lying lips, and whoever spreads slander is a fool.

The lips of the righteous nourish many, but fools die for lack of judgment.

A fool finds pleasure in evil conduct, but a man of understanding delights in wisdom.

He who brings trouble on his family will inherit only wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise.

The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice.

A fool shows his annoyance at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult.

A prudent man keeps his knowledge to himself, but the heart of fools blurts out folly.

Every prudent man acts out of knowledge, but a fool exposes his folly.

A longing fulfilled is sweet to the soul, but fools detest turning from evil.

He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.

The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.

A fool's talk brings a rod to his back, but the lips of the wise protect them.

Stay away from a foolish man, for you will not find knowledge on his lips.

The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways, but the folly of fools is deception.

Fools mock at making amends for sin, but goodwill is found among the upright.

A wise man fears the LORD and shuns evil, but a fool is hotheaded and reckless.

A quick-tempered man does foolish things, and a crafty man is hated.

The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.

The wealth of the wise is their crown, but the folly of fools yields folly.

Wisdom reposes in the heart of the discerning and even among fools she lets herself be known.

A fool spurns his father's discipline, but whoever heeds correction shows prudence.

The lips of the wise spread knowledge; not so the hearts of fools.

The discerning heart seeks knowledge, but the mouth of a fool feeds on folly.

A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish man despises his mother.

Understanding is a fountain of life to those who have it, but folly brings punishment to fools.

Arrogant lips are unsuited to a fool--how much worse lying lips to a ruler!

A rebuke impresses a man of discernment more than a hundred lashes a fool.

Better to meet a bear robbed of her cubs than a fool in his folly.

Of what use is money in the hand of a fool, since he has no desire to get wisdom?

To have a fool for a son brings grief; there is no joy for the father of a fool.

A discerning man keeps wisdom in view, but a fool's eyes wander to the ends of the earth.

A foolish son brings grief to his father and bitterness to the one who bore him.

Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue.

A fool finds no pleasure in understanding but delights in airing his own opinions.

A fool's lips bring him strife, and his mouth invites a beating.

A fool's mouth is his undoing, and his lips are a snare to his soul.

Better a poor man whose walk is blameless than a fool whose lips are perverse.

It is not fitting for a fool to live in luxury--how much worse for a slave to rule over princes!

A foolish son is his father's ruin, and a quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping.

Penalties are prepared for mockers, and beatings for the backs of fools.

It is to a man's honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel.

In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has.

Do not speak to a fool, for he will scorn the wisdom of your words.

Wisdom is too high for a fool; in the assembly at the gate he has nothing to say.

Like snow in summer or rain in harvest, honor is not fitting for a fool.

A whip for the horse, a halter for the donkey, and a rod for the backs of fools!

Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself.

Answer a fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes.

Like cutting off one's feet or drinking violence is the sending of a message by the hand of a fool.

Like a lame man's legs that hang limp is a proverb in the mouth of a fool.

Like tying a stone in a sling is the giving of honor to a fool.

Like a thornbush in a drunkard's hand is a proverb in the mouth of a fool.

Like an archer who wounds at random is he who hires a fool or any passer-by.

As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.

Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

Stone is heavy and sand a burden, but provocation by a fool is heavier than both.

Though you grind a fool in a mortar, grinding him like grain with a pestle, you will not remove his folly from him.

He who trusts in himself is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe.

He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses.

If a wise man goes to court with a fool, the fool rages and scoffs, and there is no peace.

A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.

Do you see a man who speaks in haste? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

"Under three things the earth trembles, under four it cannot bear up: a servant who becomes king, a fool who is full of food, an unloved woman who is married, and a maidservant who displaces her mistress.

"If you have played the fool and exalted yourself, or if you have planned evil, clap your hand over your mouth! For as churning the milk produces butter, and as twisting the nose produces blood, so stirring up anger produces strife."

Discipline your son, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to his death.

Discipline your son, and he will give you peace; he will bring delight to your soul.

Editor's note - Unfortunately there is a large number of undisciplined sons, daughters and adults playing the part of a fool.
